MICHAEL is the founder and director of Motsoeneng Bill Attorneys and an admitted attorney who is highly regarded as a local and international thought leader in the legal field.

He has been recognised as a leading legal expert in labour and employment law in South Africa – featuring twice in the Best Lawyers in South Africa publication.

Michael works across a range of legal practice areas, from administrative, media and regulatory law to telecommunication and constitutional law. He also has a wealth of experience in corporate law and corporate governance; however his passion leans more towards litigation and dispute resolution.

As an insightful and experienced commentator, Michael is often called upon to provide expert analysis on contemporary legal matters by the media.

He is a long-standing member of the Gauteng Legal Practice Council (previously the Law Society of the Northern Provinces), the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa and the Randburg Chamber of Commerce.

He is also the former secretary of the empowerment sub-committee for the Black Lawyers Association and former manager of Research at the Black Management Forum (Johannesburg Branch).
